The National Weather Service for the Dallas-Fort Worth area said on its website that there is "high confidence in at least measurable snow Wednesday night into Friday."

Because a rain-snow mix is expected, the NWS website says, exact precipitation amounts are still uncertain.

The NWS forecast states that the most likely snow total is between one and four inches. It also says that the odds of a snow event of five or more inches is between 30 and 40%.

"Hazardous travel is likely Thursday and Friday, especially for untreated roads," the website reads.

Accuweather predicts between three and six inches of snow, along with a significant accumulation of ice.

Accuweather does not project temperatures to rise above freezing at all on Thursday, with a high of 36 degrees on Friday.

Traveling to the game will be the issue. The on-field product won't be impacted by the weather because AT&T Stadium is equipped with a retractable roof. Kickoff between the Longhorns (13-2) and Buckeyes (12-2) is slated for 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
