Big Ten softball tournament bracket: TV schedule, seeds, game times for 2025 championship
The expansion of the Big Ten conference shook up the regular-season standings during the 2025 college softball season.
Former Pac-12 member Oregon won the regular season conference championship and secured the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament, while fellow former Pac-12 foe UCLA finished as the runner-up and the No. 2 seed. The 2025 Big Ten softball tournament is scheduled to be played at Purdue's Bittinger Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana, from Wednesday, May 7 through Saturday, May 10.
The Ducks clinched the No. 1 seed in the tournament with a victory over Michigan on Saturday and, along with the other top four seeds, got a bye until the quarterfinals on Thursday. From the 17-team league, 12 teams advanced to the conference tournament. That means Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota, Rutgers and Maryland had their seasons come to an end.
Michigan, the reigning Big Ten Tournament champion, qualified as the No. 8 seed and will play 9-seed Wisconsin on Wednesday in one of four first-round games.
