Big Ten Softball Tournament bracket: TV schedule, scores for 2025 championship
The Big Ten softball tournament is underway this week from Purdue's Bittinger Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The tournament ― which will run from Wednesday, through Saturday ― will allow the champion to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Softball Tournament on the road to the 2025 Women's College World Series.
Former Pac-12 members Oregon and UCLA are the top two seeds entering the conference tournament in their first year in the conference, with the Ducks capturing the regular-season title on the second-to-last day of the regular season. Defending tournament champion Michigan is the No. 8 seed.
Twelve teams from the 17-team league qualified for the tournament using the regular season standings. Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota, Rutgers and Maryland had their seasons come to an end and are not in the tournament field.
