The No. 1 overall seeded Aggies defeated the Red Flashes 18-0 in five innings at Davis Diamond in Bryan-College Station, Texas, to open the 2025 NCAA softball tournament at the Bryan-College Station Regional. Texas A&M followed up a five-run first inning with a 10-run second inning as Texas A&M dominated from the first pitch.
The Aggies will take on Liberty after it defeated Marist 10-5 in its opener on Friday. The Flames won the Conference USA tournament championship and bring an offense that can test the Aggies' arms in the circle.
