Following a lengthy weather delay, Texas fell to Clemson 7-4 in the first game of the Austin Super Regional, with the Tigers' Alex Brown paving the way with a three-hit outing. Now, Clemson finds itself just a game away from its first Women's College World Series appearance. The Tigers have been knocking on the door since 2022, and Friday will give them a chance to bang it down.
Standing in their way, however, is a Texas team that is extremely capable of making life difficult. Mike White's squad, the 2024 runners up, will be trying to stave off elimination at home.
