Where is the Women's College World Series held? Location, capacity of WCWS stadium
The college softball season comes to a close at the Women's College World Series, where eight teams face off for a national championship.
Those games are held at one of the most impressive softball stadiums in the world: Devon Park in Oklahoma City.
Devon Park, previously known as USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium, underwent a name change in 2024, and will host the WCWS with its current name for the second time. Devon Park will also be the home for softball during the 2028 Summer Olympics (those Games will be based in Los Angeles).
The stadium has a capacity of 13,000, which makes it the largest softball venue in the world.

WCWS field, location
The Women's College World Series is held at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, which has hosted the tournament since 1990, outside of one year in Athens, Georgia, in 1996 due to the Atlanta Summer Olympics.
The stadium was previously named USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium until 2024, when Devon Energy, an oil and gas company local to Oklahoma City, partnered with USA Softball to gain the naming rights to the venue.
The field is named OGE Energy Field, which is named after another company local to Oklahoma City.
WCWS stadium capacity
Devon Park holds 13,000 people, which is comprised of 9,000 permanent seats and 4,000 non-permanent seats that are added to the outfield for events like the WCWS.
The record attendance number of 12,324 was set on June 6, 2024, when Oklahoma and Texas faced off in Game 2 of the national championship series.
