Wisconsin basketball legend Frank Kaminsky and wife Ashley Brewer are expecting their first child

Wisconsin basaketball legend Frank Kaminsky is going to be a dad for the first time.
Kaminsky and his wife, Ashley Brewer, made the pregnancy announcement on Instagram over the weekend.
"Our greatest blessing and answered prayer," Kaminsky and Brewer wrote in a joint social media post. "Thank you Jesus 🤍"
They added the Bible verse 1 Samuel 1:27: “For this child I have prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of my heart.”
The post included photos of the couple together oceanside, with Brewer showing off her baby bump.
Kaminsky, 31, and Brewer, 33, were married in a stunning destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, two years ago.
Kaminsky, whose number 44 is retired at Wisconsin, is playing for the Toronto Raptors G-League team in Mississauga, Ontario, this season.
In 23 games with the Raptors 905, he's averaging 13 points in 26.8 minutes and shooting 48.5% from the field with six rebounds and 4.1 assists.
Kaminsky spent eight years in the NBA, from 2015 to 2022, and was part of the Phoenix Suns' NBA Finals appearance in 2021 against the Milwaukee Bucks. He played in Europe in 2023-24.
Kaminsky had a decorated career at Wisconsin, where he racked up several national player of the year honors and led the Badgers to the Final Four in 2014 and national championship game in 2015.
Brewer is a sports media personality known for her time as an anchor and reporter at ESPN.
