Vanderbilt football vs Texas tickets sold out; new student ticket process announced
Vanderbilt football has sold out tickets for the Texas game, the program announced in a release Wednesday.
Tickets are still available via the secondary market for Saturday's game, but prices are over $150 for available seats.
The No. 25 Commodores (5-2, 2-1 SEC) have sold out two games this season, against Virginia Tech and Alabama.
Students will have a new ticket claiming process this weekend that will begin Wednesday and continue Friday. Student tickets are free, but the student section has filled up at previous games, resulting in students getting turned away at the stadium or told they could not leave for food, water or to use the bathroom. Quarterback Diego Pavia called on the school to expand student seating earlier this week.
Vanderbilt will take on the No. 6 Longhorns (6-1, 2-1) at 3:15 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
FirstBank Stadium is operating under reduced capacity this season due to construction ongoing in the south end zone.
