Fantasy football tips for Week 14
A few additional fantasy nuggets to help owners set their Week 14 lineups, including injuries, a key sit/start matchup and the stat of the week.
Injury report
Be sure to check the Paste BN Fantasy Sports player notes for the latest updates prior to kickoff.
WR Alshon Jeffery, Bears (questionable)
Sore hamstring has limited his practice time this week. At least he'll have a full week between Thursday games.
RB Rashad Jennings, Giants (questionable)
Early optimism regarding his sprained ankle has begun to fade, putting Andre Williams in line for a significant upgrade vs. Titans' league-worst run defense.
RB DeAngelo Williams, Panthers (questionable)
Add a broken finger to his long list of injured body parts this season. Has only one game with more than 50 total yards.
WR DeSean Jackson, Redskins (questionable)
Left last week's game early with a leg injury and has been slow to return to practice. Injury history makes him a dicey call.
TE Dwayne Allen, Colts (probable)
He's back on the field after missing two games with an ankle injury. Coby Fleener's short stay among the top tight ends may be over.
RB Isaiah Crowell, Browns (questionable)
Yet to practice this week due to injured hip. Look for a heavy dose of Terrance West vs. Colts if things don't improve quickly.
WR Sammy Watkins, Bills (questionable)
Hip and groin injuries likely a factor in his limited production over the past month. Cold-weather games aren't helping matters either.
RB Andre Ellington, Cardinals (questionable)
Averaging less than 2.0 yards per carry over the last four weeks as hip and foot injuries has limited his explosiveness.
WR Roddy White, Falcons (questionable)
Expected to return to action after missing last week's game with an ankle injury. But be sure to have a backup Monday night in case of a setback.

Key matchup
START: RB Jonathan Stewart, Panthers
Stewart showed both strength in speed while totaling 110 yards on 14 touches in Week 13. He should be able to find running lanes against the struggling New Orleans Saints, who have allowed four straight teams to run for at least 100 yards. At a $4,900 salary in FantasyScore, Stewart is a steal.
SIT: RB Andre Ellington, Cardinals
Ellington will likely be a game-time-decision because of a hip injury. Even if he plays, Ellington has lost his edge as a big play threat -- averaging 1.94 yards per carry over his last four games. Stay away from Ellington and his $6,800 salary.

Stat of the week
33
Receptions over the past seven games for Cincinnati Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham, which ranks second at the position to Rob Gronkowski (39) over that span. Even better, Gresham could still be available as most fantasy leagues begin their playoffs.
