Week 11 fantasy football tips

A few additional fantasy nuggets to help owners set their Week 11 lineups, including injuries, sit/start matchup and the stat of the week.

Injury report

RB T.J. Yeldon, Jaguars (questionable)
The rookie shed his walking boot and says he’ll be fine for Thursday’s tilt vs. the Titans.

RB Ryan Mathews, Eagles (questionable)
The veteran rusher has toughed out several injuries this season, but a concussion has him on the brink of missing Week 11.

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, New York Jets (probable)
Underwent thumb surgery on his non-throwing hand, but returned to practice Wednesday. Should be good to go this Sunday.

RB Matt Forte, Chicago Bears (questionable)
Forte was limited Wednesday in his bid to return from a sprained knee ligament. He is a game-time decision Sunday.

WR Emmanuel Sanders, Denver Broncos (questionable)
Ankle, shoulder, concussion and finger … Sanders is beaten up. He appears to be OK to play, however, according to coach Gary Kubiak.

QB Brian Hoyer, Houston Texans (questionable)
Yet to be cleared after suffering a concussion in Week 10 and is day-to-day.

RB Carlos Hyde, San Francisco 49ers (doubtful)
Recovering from a broken foot, traveling to Seattle … stay away if he suits up.

WR Michael Floyd, Arizona Cardinals (questionable)
A hamstring injury cut short his wonderful Week 10 performance. Floyd is day-to-day.

Key matchup

START: RB Charcandrick West, Chiefs
West continues to make fantasy owners forget about Jamaal Charles. The rookie has over 120 total yards and a touchdown in three straight games. Look for him to run all over a San Diego Chargers defense that ranks 26th in the NFL against the run. Even at $7,200 in FantasyScore, West is a top tier running back.

SIT:  RB Doug Martin, Buccaneers
Martin has been solid this season. However, he faces a Philadelphia Eagles defense that’s allowed just three rushing touchdowns on the season. If Martin doesn't score, he isn't worth his $6,900 price tag on FantasyScore.

Stat of the week

21
Number of targets in Week 10 for Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams, third-most of any player this season. Unfortunately, he converted just 10 of those targets into catches (48%) for 79 yards and no touchdowns.
