Entering the home stretch of the baseball season, just the slightest injury can upset the balance of power in fantasy leagues.

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday could miss an extended period of time with a broken thumb. While Holliday isn't an elite outfielder by any means, he's still a decent fantasy contributor -- and his absence will open the door for someone else to get playing time.

It's just one of several injury issues fantasy owners have to deal with as the season winds down.
