Fantasy sizzlers and fizzlers: Davante Adams on the rise for Packers

These players saw their fantasy football values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 7:

Sizzlers

WR Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers: Adams was the only Packers receiver who was able to separate and because of it he saw 16 targets, catching 13 of them for 132 yards and two touchdowns.

RB Jay Ajayi, Miami Dolphins: Can you have the same player as a sizzler for two weeks in a row? You can when he goes for yet another 200-plus yards on the ground. That was certainly unexpected.

WR Tavon Austin, Los Angeles Rams: Austin was targeted heavily (15), and while he did have a sizzling fantasy day, he made a lot of mental errors on the field. He fumbled twice and was responsible for an interception returned for a touchdown.

TE Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts: With Dwayne Allen still nursing an ankle sprain, Doyle caught the winning touchdown in a nine-catch game with 78 yards receiving.

WR Kenny Stills, Miami Dolphins: Stills hit the century mark in receiving yards for the first time since 2014 primarily due to one 66-yard touchdown reception. He had a big fantasy day but remains a boom-or-bust type player until he proves otherwise.

Fizzlers

WR Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers: Nelson had been prolific (particularly in the end zone) until his match-up with the Chicago Bears, where he caught just one ball.

WR Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars: Robinson dropped a couple and generally played poorly, catching just two of his eight targets.

RB Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears: Just when fantasy owners were warming up to Howard as a mainstay in their lineups, he failed to produce as he was out-touched by Ka’Deem Carey, who looked much better running the ball. With Jeremy Langford almost ready to return, the backfield will get crowded in a hurry.

RB Terrance West, Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens stayed away from their running game against the New York Jets, running West just eight times for 10 yards.

RB LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills: McCoy looked nowhere near 100% in pregame warm-ups and the Bills ran him anyway in a game where he further tweaked his injured hamstring on a passing play. Now, McCoy's fantasy owners are hoping this doesn't turn into a multi-week affair.
