Fantasy sizzlers, fizzlers: Ryan Mathews back in favor
These players saw their fantasy football values increase or decrease the most based on their performances in Week 10:
Sizzlers
RB Ryan Mathews, Philadelphia Eagles: Two touchdowns and 139 total yards, while looking extremely good in the process, has a way of getting a player back in fantasy owners’ good graces.
WR Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs: He caught 10 of his 13 targets and filled in admirably for Jeremy Maclin. He’s also good for one or two carries a game as well.
WR Jeremy Kerley, San Francisco 49ers: Lest we forget this early season waiver-wire darling, Colin Kaepernick had a nose for him Sunday to the tune of seven receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown.
RB C.J. Prosise, Seattle Seahawks: In his first NFL start, the rookie accumulated 153 yards of total offense and was a major factor in the passing game. Just beware of Thomas Rawls returning from injury and cutting into his playing time.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense: Four sacks, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, a safety and a touchdown — all while completely shutting down the Chicago Bears offense — this unit certainly deserves a mention.
Fizzlers
RB-WR Ty Montgomery, Green Bay Packers: The former waiver-wire darling was pushed back to the bench with the return of running back James Starks. He touched the ball a total of five times for 20 yards in a loss to the Tennessee Titans.
WR Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints: Coming off a two-touchdown game in Week 9, the rookie lost two crucial fumbles and saw his rising star fade quickly.
TE Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins: Reed owners across fantasyland watched in horror as Vernon Davis strung together a highlight reel on receiving.
WR J.J. Nelson, Arizona Cardinals: When you get handed the WR2 role and subsequently fumble, drop passes and are the cause of an interception for the other team, you don't hold onto that role for long.
WR Brandon Marshall, New York Jets: You can add Quincy Enunwa to this list too. Neither wideout performed well as the Jets struggled under new quarterback Bryce Petty.
