As fantasy football draft day approaches, everyone searches for that diamond in the rough that could catapult them to a championship.

Here are some of this season's potential bust candidates that fantasy owners should avoid at their current draft positions.

MORE FANTASY RANKINGS:

TOP 200: Overall rankings for 2017 season

RBs: How far did Elliott slide after suspension?

QBs: Who should be your signal caller?

WRs: Can anyone keep up with Antonio Brown?

QB: Cam Newton, Panthers: Returns from major shoulder surgery to a suspect cast of weapons.

RB: Joe Mixon, Bengals: Will be a stud in 2018; too many mouths to feed in Cincy right now.

WR: John Ross, Bengals: All he does is go deep; has to battle being a rookie in a crowded passing game.

TE: O.J. Howard, Buccaneers: Rookie tight ends rarely excel, but in time, he should thrive.

K Chris Boswell, Steelers: Disappointment a better word; fewer field goal attempts due to a better offense.

Seattle Seahawks defense/special teams: Being awesome in real life rarely translates to fantasy success for Seattle.
