Fantasy football stock watch: Time to redo the quarterback rankings?
These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 9:
SIZZLERS
QB Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals: Murray is the first of two young quarterbacks who have made the leap to super-stardom this season. Against Miami, Murray was electric both passing the ball (283 yards, 3 TDs) and running (106 yards, TD) with it.
QB Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen was near-perfect, throwing for over 400 yards and three scores while adding his fifth rushing touchdown. Dual-threat quarterbacks continue to be the ultimate fantasy weapon.
QB Drew Lock, Denver Broncos: Lock may have been on many leagues' waiver wires, but after his first 300-yard game of the season, he shouldn't be anymore. Adding 47 rushing yards and a touchdown made him one of Week 9's top scoring players.
QB Teddy Bridgewater, Carolina Panthers: Bridgewater was efficient against Kansas City, throwing for over 300 yards, but perhaps the most important statistic was that he didn't turn the ball over.
QB Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins: It's a quarterback quintuplet this week and what a difference a week makes. Tagovailoa is still learning on the job, but in just his second NFL start, he just went score-for-score with Kyler Murray and came out on top -- completing 20-of-28 passes for 248 yards with a pair of TDs and zero turnovers.
FIZZLERS
RB Devin Singletary, Buffalo Bills: With just two rushing attempts and three targets in the passing game, Singletary has lost ground on the depth chart to rookie Zack Moss, who has been handling goal-line touches as well.
WR Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings: Thielen last had more than three receptions in a game in Week 5. With Dalvin Cook running as well as he is, the entire Minnesota receiving game has taken a hit in fantasy.
WR Darius Slayton, New York Giants: Slayton can be hit-or-miss in fantasy but he was a big whiff in Week 9. He caught his only target for a measly 6 yards.
TE Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The entire Bucs offense struggled against the Saints. Gronk did see six targets but was only able to convert one into a reception for 2 yards.
TE Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: With Baltimore struggling to gain traction in the passing game, Andrews should be a reliable safety valve. Yet he's averaging slightly more than three receptions per game.
