Here are some of this season's top breakout candidates who could dramatically outperform their average draft positions (ADPs from all August drafts, courtesy of NFFC) and why they could be an asset to your team:

QUARTERBACK

Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts (ADP: 121): The No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft will start from Week 1. He offers elite rushing upside with a big arm.

RUNNING BACK

Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (ADP: 68): White is the clear-cut RB1 in an offense that will lean on the ground game and plays in a suspect division.

WIDE RECEIVER

Kadarius Toney, Kansas City Chiefs (ADP: 97): Blessed with game-breaking speed and top-notch ball skills ... but can he stay healthy? Having Patrick Mahomes as his QB certainly can't hurt.

TIGHT END

Chigoziem Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans (ADP: 137): An efficient, vertically gifted "move TE" who will benefit from DeAndre Hopkins' addition to the Tennessee receiving corps.

KICKER

Jake Moody, San Francisco 49ers (ADP: 249): A clutch rookie with more than enough leg to connect from long distance. The Niners offense will likely give him at least 30 field goal attempts.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS

Los Angeles Chargers (ADP: 253): Improved talent, with a defensive-minded head coach. The Chargers feature elite personnel on the edge and in the defensive backfield.
