Benches clear after Braves P throws at Fernandez's head
Tempers flared in the seventh inning Wednesday when Atlanta Braves pitcher Jose Ramirez threw high and behind a bunting Jose Fernandez's head.
Fernandez had to be held back the moment Ramirez's 95-mph fastball sailed past his head. It was the second time Fernandez had to avoid a high pitch near his head. Ramirez didn't back down from the confrontation either, as he continued to shout at the Marlins ace.
Benches cleared after Fernandez continued to argue with Ramirez.

It took several minutes to clear the field, but the teams avoided coming to blows.
Ramirez was ejected for his pitch.
