Patriots QB Brissett stuns Texans on 27-yard TD run

Hey, maybe Tom Brady is just a system quarterback.

Jacoby Brissett made his first start in the place of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who was in turn replacing the suspended Brady. But it didn't take long for the rookie from NC State to prove that playing quarterback for the Patriots is pretty easy.

Late in the first quarter, Brissett rolled to his right and cruised before making some sweet moves to complete a 27-yard touchdown run.

Brissett isn't considered fast by any measure, but that didn't matter because the Patriots can function with any quarterback, apparently.
