Buxton hits inside-the-park HR on the first pitch
Byron Buxton is fast.
How fast, you ask?
Fast enough to hit an inside-the-park home run on the first pitch of the game and make it look extraordinarily easy.
The Twins center fielder drove the first pitch from the White Sox's Chris Sale to center field. Leury Garcia got completely turned around after making a poor read on Buxton's hit.
Garcia hit the wall, and didn't catch the ball, which wasn't ideal for the White Sox because by that time, Buxton was already rounding second base.
Again, he's so fast.
According to Statcast, Buxton hit the fastest inside-the-park home run of the season.
