49ers fans chant 'We want Kaep' before TD drive
The Arizona Cardinals had slowed down the 49ers offense for much of the first half on Thursday night.
Then when the 49ers' first drive of the second half stalled and resulted in yet another punt, the fans wanted a change. They made it loud and clear.
"We want Kaep" chants grew loud in the third quarter, which could be heard from the near-soundproof Levi's Stadium press box.
Despite the fans' chant, Kaepernick did not enter the game. Instead, Gabbert led an 11-play, 82-yard touchdown drive.
That was one way to silent the chants.
