Chris Broussard announces he's leaving ESPN for FS1

Let the broadcast wars continue.

ESPN's Chris Broussard announced on Friday that he's leaving the network after 12 years to re-join former coworkers including Skip Bayless, Jason Whitlock and Colin Cowherd at FS1.

"Had a wonderful 12 yrs !" Brousaard tweeted. "Can't thank them enough for the support & opportunities they gave me. But time for a new chapter in my life."

While Broussard is one of the well-known personalities on ESPN, his tenure there has not been without controversy in the past few years. In 2015, he apologized to Mark Cuban for not asking him for comment following a Twitter war about DeAndre Jordan's free agency. In 2013, he ignited a firestorm after saying that homosexuality was a sin during a broadcast about Jason Collins becoming the first openly gay NBA player.
