USMNT players send out support to Clint Dempsey amid heart treatment

This week Ryan Dempsey, the brother to USMNT and Seattle Sounders striker Clint Dempsey, sent out a tweet urging prayers for his brother, who he said was set to undergo another treatment for an irregular heartbeat. The tweet has since been deleted.

USMNT players responded to the news with an outpouring of well wishes for Dempsey, who is the second-leading goalscorer of all time for the national team.

The Sounders did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Friday morning.
