Craig Sager cleared for night out of hospital just in time to cheer on Cubs
Here's a good omen for the Cubs.
Lifelong Cubs fan and beloved Turner broadcaster Craig Sager was cleared to spend his first night out of the hospital in nearly three months, according to a tweet from his son on Wednesday night.
Sager is undergoing treatment for his continued fight against leukemia. In June, he threw out the first pitch before Chicago's game and put on an amazing singing performance during the 7th inning stretch.
