Bill Simmons rips Chargers' stadium scheme

In this very good segment from Any Given Wednesday, Bill Simmons makes the case that the good people of San Diego should not approve a ballot measure that would approve public funding for a new Chargers stadium, or "convadium," which I concur is not a thing.

The whole video is very good, but make sure to stick around for the Tony Hawk appearance.

Warning: Explicit language.

Simmons is right. This measure is bad, and believing that San Diego will have enough tourists to cover the billion-dollar stadium is at best extremely optimistic and at worst disingenuous.
