Mavericks coach rips team's game: 'It was a Donald Trump debate performance'

The tippy top of the Mavericks organization has been firmly in Hillary Clinton's camp since the summer, when owner, billionaire. and start-up guy Mark Cuban went on a tirade against Trump. Cuban later endorsed Clinton, calling Trump a "jagoff." Cuban has been court sidefront and center in the audience for the debates, and quite vocal in his displeasure with the Republican candidate.

There appears to be some agreement when it comes to political opinions within the Mavs' organization: After the team lost to the Rockets, 106-91, head coach Rick Carlisle said this:

"The beginning of the game was abominable. It was a Donald Trump debate performance."

Given that the CNN/ORC poll had Clinton winning the debate by 13 points, the Mavericks, with a 15 point loss, actually performed worse than Trump. But at least they accepted the fact that the Rockets beat them when the game was over. It's not clear whether Trump will do so if Clinton wins.
