8 lowlights from a sloppy NFL Sunday

Not sure what it was about this specific weekend, but the NFL was kind of a mess on Sunday. Fun to watch, granted, but pretty sloppy.

There were five turnovers just in the first quarter of the Vikings-Eagles game, and plenty more elsewhere around the league. Lets run through some of the more egregious ones, in no particular order.

1. Pick Six Abroad

Case Keenum had four interceptions in the Rams' London game, but Larry Donnell's skill punished him for this one.

2. Slippery Snap

Fundamental stuff, this. Fundamental.

3. Back Pass

No turnovers involved in this clip, but hardly the most textbook way to complete a pass.

4. Fumbles On Fumbles

Pretty much sums up the entire Vikings-Eagles game.

5. Blake Bortles Brain Fart

How else would you explain this decision from Bortles? Inexcusable mistake.

6. Tipped Pick Six

Not the worst throw you'd have watched on Sunday. In truth, the fault lies more with the receiver. But a pick six? Painful.

7. Double Fumble

What a mess. One play, two fumbles.

8. Fumbled Punt

In the fourth quarter of a messy game between the Vikings and Eagles, cornerback Marcus Sherels fumbled a punt in the fourth quarter that the Eagles recovered.
