Golfer pulls off absurd, soccer-style trick shot
As if golf wasn't already difficult enough, former Arizona State golfer Mathias Schjoelberg decided to bring other sports into the already-tough game for good measure.
The result was extraordinary.
This trick shot was from a couple weeks ago, but it just needed to be shared. In one sequence, Schjoelberg approached the ball with a Happy Gilmore run-up, struck it with his driver in the direction of his left foot. He then flipped the ball up with his foot and finished off his shot.
Like, what? How?
I'm not exactly sure what would compel someone to even attempt this, and I know if I tried, my leg would be covered with golf ball-sized bruises - assuming I somehow made it that far.
Well done, Mathias. Well done, indeed.
