Noah set bar for worst airball of NBA season
This has been a banner day for NBA airballs. Really, it has.
Earlier on Tuesday, LeBron James airballed a free throw. That was surprising enough because James is usually a reliable free-throw shooter.
Well, Joakim Noah must have seen James' airball and set out to top him because that's exactly what he did.
Look at this shot:
The whole sequence was tough to watch. Noah first looked scared to even be holding a basketball that far away from the basket. He took a reluctant dribble because he was already way too far from the basket. Then, Noah measured up his jumper and still airballed so bad that he missed the net completely.
And it has happened before!
Perhaps Noah should stop taking jump shots.
