Barack Obama to the Cubs: 'Want to come to the White House before I leave?'
Normal Chicago Guy and President of the United States Barack Obama is a die hard White Sox fan, but even he was pretty jazzed when the Cubs clinched the title on Wednesday night in a stunning, 10-inning matchup against the Cleveland Indians. The leader of the free world took to Twitter to invite the Cubbies to the White House before his lease is up he's no longer president and he has to move out.
It happened: @Cubs win World Series. That's change even this South Sider can believe in. Want to come to the White House before I leave?
The Cubs didn't say yes on Twitter yet, but they did retweet Obama. Which, I know, I know, is not an endorsement, but, I mean … that's a pretty cool party to get invited to. You don't really say no to that.
