Northwestern band performs 'Go Cubs Go'
The Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years on Wednesday. Northwestern took time to recognize the Cubs for their achievement at the Wildcats football game on Saturday.
The band performed Go Cubs Go at halftime, a person parachuted onto the field with the W flag before the game and they flew a W flag along with the Northwestern flag.
Wildcats fans were also into the celebrations.
However, while Northwestern celebrated the Cubs victory, Wisconsin beat the Wildcats, 21-7.
