Donald Trump tells crowd Bill Belichick, Tom Brady support him
Donald Trump was in New Hampshire on Monday night, speaking to a crowd at the crucial battleground state, and he said that both the New England Patriots' Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have supported him for president.
During the speech, Trump first brought up Brady, saying that the future Hall of Famer gave him a call to say he voted for Trump.
He then brought up Belichick and read an endorsement letter that he said came from the Patriots head coach.
Brady has not publicly endorsed Trump to date. In October, Brady said that Trump was a "friend" but declined to say he was voting for the Republican candidate.
On Monday, Brady told WEEI that he hadn't voted yet. Early voting in Massachusetts ended on Friday.
It is, however, possible that Brady voted after the interview.
Update: CSN New England reportedly confirmed that Belichick sent the letter.
