Belichick answers Trump Q with one word: 'Seattle'
Patriots fans should be embarrassed. Truly embarrassed of their head coach.
As I wrote yesterday, this has nothing to do with who Bill Belichick supports politically. It has everything to do with how he's handling it. He may not have wanted his letter of support to Donald Trump to become public, but it did. The inevitable question about it came on Wednesday, but rather than treating people with any semblance of respect and giving them a proper, honest response, he resorted to childishness. Asked about Trump, all he could muster was the word "Seattle" over and over again.
The video:
He did expand (slightly) later on, saying that his comments weren't entirely "politically motivated"
"I think anybody that spends more than five minutes with me knows I'm not a political person. My comments are not politically motivated, but out of friendship and loyalty to Donald."
