The Pistons wanted no part of this Russell Westbrook dunk
It's a pretty safe assumption that every NBA player has been dunked on at some point in their career. That being said, it's probably not a fun experience.
Russell Westbrook's dunk certainly proved that.
Marcus Morris was not about to let Westbrook have the satisfaction of dunking on him during Monday's game in Detroit. No way. Not a chance.
Notice that once Westbrook drove past Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, every player on the Pistons collectively said, "Nope."
Morris was the closest defender to Westbrook, and he backed off to give Westbrook the two points. But really, every Pistons player on the court just stopped playing. It wasn't worth it.
That was the smart move.
