Pope poses with Cubs gear after World Series

Even the Vatican knows about the Chicago Cubs historic World Series win. Chicago Archbishop Blase Cupich delivered a hat and a signed ball to Pope Francis. Though the pope is known to be more of a soccer fan, he now has the gear to become a Cubs fan if he wants.

Cupich, who will become Cardinal Cupich this weekend, also used the Cubs World Series win as a way to feed the hungry and shine a light on homelessness. He and Cleveland Bishop Richard Lennon bet food for 100 people on the Cubs-Indians games. When the Cubs won, both men decided to pay up. Cupich sent Chicago-style pizzas to a shelter in Cleveland, while Lennon sent pierogi and kielbasa to Chicago.
