LSU coach gives perfect pregame speech and we can't understand a word of it

LSU interim head coach Ed Orgeron is a thick-and-through football guy. A native of Larose, Louisiana, he's grew up in the bayou, and before finding football greatness, developed an accent that I have heard compared multiple times to the overalls-wearing assistant coach in The Waterboy.

After watching this pregame speech given by Orgeron before LSU's game against Arkansas last weekend, I can't see a problem with that comparison.

Orgeron says several things in this pregame speech, and I'm not entirely sure what they are. I caught "Start fast and finish strong," and other than that, I got nothing. The gang in the Deadspin comment section thought it might have been a recipe for gumbo.

Whatever he said, it worked - LSU won the game 38-10.
