The heartwarming letter Rory sent to a young golf fan
Rory McIlroy captured the 2016 FedEx Cup thanks in part to this hole-out eagle on the 16th hole at the Tour Championship.
As you can see, Rory celebrated that shot by tossing his golf ball into the crowd - a ball that found its way into the hands of a young golf fan.
Rory found out about it and, being the nice guy that he is, sent a letter to the fan.
