Jaromir Jagr had a great excuse for missing Pens reunion

The Pittsburgh Penguins welcomed back the members of the 1991-92 Stanley Cup team on Saturday as part of their 50-year ceremony, but there was a notable absence.

Jaromir Jagr couldn't make it because, well, he astonishingly is still playing in the NHL. The 44-year-old is coming off an All-Star season, and really, shows no interest in aging.

He has 12 points through 25 games with the Panthers, which is a slow start compared to last year but still solid for a 44-year-old hockey player.

The reunion's photo should make Jagr's still-ongoing hockey career look even more impressive.

When a hockey fan noticed that Jagr was missing, the Penguins had an appropriate response.
