LeGarrette Blount makes Jeff Fisher's bad week worse

Not a good week for Jeff Fisher. It started with this stat that made the rounds ahead of the Rams' game against the Patriots on Sunday…

Which was followed with a gaffe in which Fisher revealed he had no idea who the Pats' slate of running back was.

"Well, they're all different. I have a place in my heart for LeGarrette, because I gave him a start, and I have great respect for him. He's a big back, and he's hard to get down. And as they rotate through, different guys play in different situations, and they do a good job with it. He knows where the ball's going to go, and the guys are very, very disciplined….I've been impressed with Brandon and what he's done out of the backfield. You've got to deal with him, in addition to Danny. You've got playmakers all around, so we have to play sound defense."

The was all the ridiculing on Twitter after he extended his contract.

This brutal TV graphic.

The whole not-being-able-to-find-the-challenge-flag thing.

The eventual result, which was so lopsided that Fox switched to a mor competitive game before it was over.

And then, for the cherry on top, Pats LeGarrette Blount, speaking after his 88 yard one-touchdown performance, Blount inserted the knife and gave it one last twist, via the Boston Herald:

"He already knew my name," Blount said. "I think he knows James and Dion now for sure, though."
