Golfer hits back at critics after shaming troll

Ian Poulter did something quite controversial over the weekend. In response to a scathing comment from a fan, he posted the comment on his official Instagram account with a response of his own:

But that move, while applauded by some, also drew criticism from other corners. It was little more than glorified cyberbullying, they said, using his massive platform for a punishment that doesn't fit the crime. Afterwards, Poulter responded to those sentiments.

And on Tuesday, he followed up with one more message.
