Robin Roberts' beautiful speech is so inspiring

Robin Roberts is a former Sports Center anchor, a Good Morning America anchor, a cancer survivor, and now, she's a 2016 inductee into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Roberts accepted the award on Tuesday night and her speech was a perfect encapsulation of the career that preceded it. After her customary thanks for those who helped her along her way, she shared an inspiring lesson she learned from her career:

"All of us, it doesn't matter [if you're a] man, woman, black, white, gay, straight, we just want the same opportunities. You can wish hope and pray all you want - I'm a very spiritual person - but you know that you need the help of others to make your hopes; make your dreams come true."

She went on to talk her childhood dream of making it to Wimbledon. Quickly realizing she wasn't good enough to make it there with a tennis racket, she got there anyway with an ESPN mic in her hands. It didn't matter how, she said; her dream had come true.
