DeMarcus Cousins slams 'ridiculous' refs
DeMarcus Cousins dropped 55 points for the Kings on Tuesday night as he helped his team onto a 126-121 victory over the Trail Blazers. Normally that'd be a cause for celebration, but not this time.
Cousins walked off the court at the end of the game still furious at the technical foul (and subsequent ejection) handed to him with 30 seconds left. Officials issued the foul for what they thought was an intentional spitting-out of Cousins' mouth guard, only to rescind it shortly after.
But that didn't do much to assuage Cousins, one day after his own organization fined him for a separate matter. After the game, he didn't hold back in his criticism of officials, who he thinks have a vendetta against him:
"It's ridiculous. It's obvious what's being done out here. It's a nightly basis. I hope the world can see now what's really going on out here. It's getting ridiculous. It's really ridiculous. … Yes, [losing the mouthguard was accidental], man. Yes. This is ridiculous, man. Ridiculous."
