Hawaii ran crazy fake punt involving a looooong snap
Fake punts come in all shapes in sizes - some are designed runs for an athletic punter, others give those who boot footballs a chance to show off their arms.
But this, courtesy of Hawaii during their 52-35 Hawaii Bowl win over Middle Tennessee, seems like a rarity: Rainbow Warriors wideout Makoa Camanese-Stevens lined up behind Hawaii's punter, received the extremely long snap and fired it to Ammon Barker for a first down:
Kudos to the long-snapper, who had to nail Camanese-Stevens with a snap 20 yards behind him. And you can also see one Middle Tennessee defender who appears to point Camanese-Stevens behind the punter before the play, but that didn't help.
