Noah Syndergaard hated 2016 as much as you did

We've seen tweet after tweet come in - a ton of them this week, particularly - calling for 2016 to end already, but one athlete might have the most creative of the lot.

It's extremely good New York Mets pitcher and very good tweeter Noah Syndergaard, who had this to say:

2016 was a bit of a bummer for the Mets after making it to the 2015 World Series. And it's an extreme disappointment to all Mets fans that Bartolo Colon will no longer be in New York.

So, yeah. Get outta here, 2016. Just like Colon's home run.
