Joel Embiid turns to WWE for NBA All-Star votes

It seems like almost every day there's an update to Joel Embiid's fantastic NBA All-Star campaign. On Thursday, he decided to tweet at Triple H and the WWE while using a photo of himself squeezing T.J. McConnell's neck (after McConnell hit the game-winner on Wednesday night).

Embiid also posted that photo the night of the game-winner and wrote, "I'm surprised he wasn't hospitalized Cuz … BIG time shot @TJMcConnell."

Embiid also gained the support of Mike Trout on Thursday.

This is all just days after Embiid got the support of former 76ers GM Sam Hinkie.

Embiid is currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference frontcourt, per the second round of fan-voting results. And, as we've mentioned before, fan votes will make up 50% of the results, while players and select media members will make up the other 50%.
