Derek Carr helped Oakland police locate a missing child

Derek Carr was a top contender for the NFL MVP award before injuries derailed his season. He may have just locked up Twitter MVP thanks to a timely retweet that helped Oakland Police locate a missing child.

On Jan. 14, the Raiders quarterback retweeted this from Lt. Chris Bolton to his 246 thousand followers…

No less than 24 hours later, police found the child. Bolton made sure to give Carr a shout out for making the search much easier.

Carr responded gracefully.
