Elderly Royals fan left hospice to visit memorial

One Kansas City Royals fan just couldn't pay tribute to the late Yordano Ventura from afar.

KCTV found 94-year-old Maxine Bell - who left hospice care just for this occasion - visiting the growing memorial in front of Kauffman Stadium with her daughter on Monday:

"I never missed a game that I could see," Maxine Bell said. "We're losing such a good pitcher - bless his heart."

Ventura was honored in his native Dominican Republic with a wake on Monday after dying in a car crash on Sunday.
