Lady Gaga hits back at Super Bowl body-shamers

Somehow, despite the incredible feats contained within Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime performance, there was an ugly undercurrent to it all. During the show, some took to social media to criticize Lady Gaga's "belly," a notion fans everywhere immediately took issue with - and rightfully so.

Now, Gaga herself is getting involved.

She didn't need a lot of words for her message to resonate. Rather than focus on the negativity, she used the moment to spread a positive message to people everywhere who may be feeling insecure about their bodies.
