Embiid: 'LeBron will start going down’

Joel Embiid, who has only played 31 games because of injuries since being drafted in 2014, is extremely confident about the future of the 76ers. And when he represented the Sixers at the NBA draft lottery on Tuesday night, he let everyone know.

Per the Philly Inquirer's Mike Sielski, Embiid said this about LeBron James and the Cavaliers:

The 76ers haven't made it to the playoffs since 2012, haven't been to the Finals since 2001 and haven't won a championship since 1983. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are the defending champs and James has been in the Finals every season since 2012.

To say the Sixers are going to start taking the Cavs down next year seems a bit, um, crazy, but what else would you expect from a guy rocking awesome gold shoes?

What do you think?
