Mike Golic's son slams 'stupid' ESPN 'idiots'

With ESPN introducing a flurry of changes in an effort to shift the company in a more digital direction, the World Wide Leader confirmed Tuesday that Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic - hosts of the longstanding morning show "Mike & Mike" - would be parting ways. Greenberg will host a show of his own while Golic will remain, re-launching the show with his son Mike Golic Jr. and Trey Wingo.

The two hosts addressed the future on Wednesday in a brief, but heartfelt, message.

The two breaking up is big news, obviously, news that not everybody is very pleased about. Add Mike Golic's son, Jake, to that list, who sent a flurry of Tweets Wednesday morning bashing those in charge:

An ESPN spokesperson declined to comment on the matter. But Jake did, eventually, calm down enough to tweet this:
