Foul ball cracked fish tank at Marlins Park
The Marlins' J.T. Realmuto hit a foul ball that wound up cracking the fish tank behind home plate at Marlins Park on Friday night. It was a strange occurrence that, per the Cut4, has never happened before.
Fortunately, it didn't break enough to cause water and fish to spill out, and several strips of duct tape were enough for a quick fix. No fish were harmed.
However, jokes were made. Marlins president David Samson told MLB.com:
"After the game, we're placing two fish on the disabled list and we're calling up two other fish from the Minors."
